Microplex runs software-powered social cinema events at venues across Los Angeles. We built it because something went missing — streaming gave everyone access to everything and somehow made watching feel lonelier. So we brought the third space back, and made it better. Every show runs on technology that turns a passive audience into an active one — drinking games synced to the exact frame, live commentary hitting the big screen, audience votes that change what plays next.
